On December 15, SIE and Nam Kwong (Group) Co., Ltd. held a meeting and strategic cooperation framework agreement signing ceremony by video link between Sichuan and Macao SAR.

Fu Jianguo said that the two sides, as the leading enterprises in the exhibition and convention industry in Sichuan and Macao, shall remain committed to the common responsibilities and missions by taking advantage of respective resource endowments to carry out strategic cooperation, which will not only promote the sustainable development of the two enterprises, but also benefit both Sichuan and Macao. Starting from exhibition and convention industry, the two sides seek for  mutual beneficial and coordinated development to promote  quality opening-up of Sichuan and facilitate diversified economic development of Macao for a joint integration into the overall national development. We look forward to pragmatic cooperation through timely and effective coordination.  

Yang Qinglong introduced SIE. He said that the two sides would focus on the coordinated development of the Sichuan-Macao exhibition and convention industry to establish a cooperative promotion mechanism, and serve the integration of Sichuan and Macao into the new development pattern, accelerating the joint development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle. The two parties will work together to integrate Sichuan-Macao exhibition resources, proliferate state-owned exhibition capital and complement each other's advantages for common development. It is firmly believed that through the joint efforts of both parties, new and greater contributions will be made to foster a new development pattern and promote the high-quality development of the "Belt and Road" initiative.  

Que Zikang pointed out that the signing of the strategic framework agreement between Nam Kwong (Group) and SIE marked a new beginning to win-win cooperation and common development for both parties, strengthening momentum of the long-term cooperation between Sichuan and Macao with new dimensions and opportunities. He put forward three expectations: firstly, to seize strategic opportunities by leveraging the construction of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin and the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle to deeply integrate into the new development pattern of "dual circulation"; secondly, to deepen cooperation and exchanges to accelerate the communication and cooperation between Sichuan and Macao in economic and trade, cultural tourism, science and technology, and youth exchanges, etc; thirdly, to promote project implementation by giving full play to our respective advantages, gathering strength and integrating to have a serial of influential and model projects planned and implemented as soon as possible.

Witnessed by the guests, Yang Chuan, General Manager of SIE, and Song Xiaodong, utive Director and Deputy General Manager of Nam Kwong (Group), signed the strategic cooperation framework agreement on behalf of the two companies. According to the agreement, the two parties will focus on cooperation in exhibition and convention, publicity and promotion, liaison mechanism, talent exchange and training to seize the opportunities of national development strategy, build a new dual-circulation development pattern and serve the overall opening-up of Sichuan and China.
