On the afternoon of January 27, Yang Qinglong, Party Secretary and Chairman of SIE, and Yang Chuan, Deputy Party Secretary, Vice Chairman and General Manager of SIE, carried out a work safety inspection before the Spring Festival and New Year visits to the departments and subsidiaries of SIE, sending New Year greetings and wishes to the staff, and checking the fire and electricity safety in the office area. The activity was accompanied by Wang Wanjun, Deputy General Manager of SIE, and relevant staff from the General Office and the Investment and Operation Department of SIE.

During the inspection and visits, Yang Qinglong spoke highly of the achievements made by SIE staff in the past year. He pointed out that 2021 is a year of hardship as well as great harvests. In the context of the repeated impacts of COVID-19, the senior utives of SIE led the staff to calmly confront the difficulties, stepped forward despite the heavy burdens, innovated while increasing the level of development. As a result, they overfulfilled the production and operation tasks, accelerated the reform missions and made significant contributions to the high-quality opening-up of Sichuan. 2022 is a critical year of hope, pioneering, innovation, breakthrough and development and is sure to become a fruitful year. The SIE staff should offer practical efforts with higher motivations and greater enthusiasm, implement the major decisions and arrangements made by the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and the People' s Government of Sichuan Province and the working requirements proposed by Sichuan SASAC, fully promote SIE's business and attain leaping development, so as to provide better results for the 20th National Congress of the CPC and the 12th Congress of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee.

Yang Chuan brought forward 4 opinions on safety production, ecological and environmental protection, and epidemic prevention and controlduring the Spring Festival. First, raise the level of consciousness from an overall perspective, comprehensively strengthen the inspection and handling of safety hazards and fully implement full staff safety production responsibility system. Second, all units should emphasize epidemic response and the fire & theft prevention for key places and enhance safety inspection based on the actual conditions to guarantee timely risks elimination. Third, implement the requirements for epidemic prevention, guide employees and their relatives to make proactive personal protection and cautiously arrange travel. Specifically, don't visit any medium and high-risk areas or epidemic-stricken regions and don't make  unnecessary travel out of the province. Fourth, all units should strictly implement the duty-related regulations proposed by the superior. Operators on duty should stick to their posts, do not leave the posts without proper reason and, in case of safety production accident or any other emergency, submit the information and handle the situation.

Employees expressed their gratitude and blessings for SIE leadership and promised to earnestly take on their post responsibilities, stick to the safety production to create a positive environment for the start of the new quarter and offer actual results to the 20th National Congress of the CPC and the 12th Congress of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee as a tribute!
