On June 16, SIE held 2021 Safety Publicity and Consultation Day activity. Wang Wanjun, Deputy General Manager of SIE, presided over the activity and delivered a speech. In total, over 40 people participated in this event, including heads of departments and subsidiaries of SIE and safety production personnel.

Wang Wanjun stressed that all departments and subsidiaries should implementate the work arrangements by the CPC, the State Council, the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and the People's Government of Sichuan Province; establish a concept on safety development as per the requirements by Sichuan SASAC, strictly implement the responsibilities for safety production and preventive measures to prevent and eliminate all kinds of production safety accidents and create a positive and safe environment for celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the CPC. While assuring quality production and operation security, SIE should also guarantee fire safety and electrical safety of daily office work and exhibition venues, the personal and property safety, positive Internet public opinions and information security.

During this activity, the full-time fire and rescue brigade of Chengdu hi-tech zone fire and rescue brigade was invited to the activity. Through a large number of vivid cases, it explained the knowledge of firefighting and emergency in daily life and working based on the characteristics of the exhibition and convention industry and centering on the basic knowledge of fire safety, fire responsibilities, fire alarm, fire fighting & evacuation and fire safety management, etc. The brigade also gave detailed answers to the questions related to safety production and emergency management proposed by the attendees.

The participants watched the feature film Life is of Paramount Importance: Learning General Secretary Xi Jinping's Important Remarks on Safety Production and the educational warning film of typical accidents The Cost of a Fluke Mind and conducted a fire drill.

This June marks the 20th national Safety Production Month. Centering on the theme "implementing safety responsibilities and promoting safe development" and the actual work, SIE carried out education activities themed on "learning Party's history, undertaking the missions, focusing on safety and accelerating development" while adhering to the national and provincial requirements on activities of the Safety Production Month. Besides, SIE publicized General Secretary Xi Jinping's important remarks on safety production in an in-depth way and implemented the activities and series events of the "National Safety Consultation and Publicity Day" to promote SIE's safety production and situation so as to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC with excellent achievements.
